The Latest Rechargeable Battery Technology

Rechargeable batteries bring a lot of advantages and benefits to most users since it does not only help them save more on purchasing one-time use batteries but also enable them to contribute more in the preservation of the technology since most batteries contain harmful chemicals which may damage the regardless of whether they have been disposed of properly or not.

The technology when it comes to rechargeable batteries is constantly developing especially when it comes to laptop batteries.

Before, the average work-time that a laptop battery can provide to the laptop ranges from 90 minutes up to as much as 120 minutes or 2 hours. With this limited work-time, a lot of laptop users are finding it inconvenient to recharge the battery every now and then especially if they are using their laptops on the go or if they are always away from an electric outlet.

But with the development of laptop batteries nowadays, there are laptop batteries which can last up to 6 long hours of work time. This does not only mean that the user will have longer work time but also will decrease the frequency of needing to recharge the laptop battery thus maximizing its lifespan.

Today, there is a type of battery that is called as "Hybrio" which can store energy for longer period of time.
Hybrio batteries are known to be efficient when it comes to self-discharge since according to researches, if you will charge a Hybrio battery and store it for 6 months, it will still have 80% charge. In other words, even if you do not recharge it after storing it for a long time, you will still be able to use 80% of its capacity. This is actually more advantageous as compared with different kinds of batteries such as NiMh which are very inefficient when it comes to self-discharge.
